Sanders Family 1841 Census

It appears that apart from one small diversion in the early 1830s,when he dabbled in the world of law enforcement, Edward Sanders spent his life working as a shoe maker. His father's will specified that money be put aside for an apprenticeship of some kind for young Edward, and he must have been indentured to a shoe maker.
On the baptismal certificate of third child, Henry Sanders, in 1832, it was noted that Edward Sanders was "now a police officer, late of this parish'. By the time his next child was baptised in 1835, his occupation was once again shoe maker, and it remained so until his death.
